There seems to be a rumour going the rounds that Lee Kuan Yew suffered a heart attack at 9.30 pm on Friday and is now warded at the Cardiac Unit of the ICU at
Singapore General Hospital.

It would seem that there is a black out by the state controlled media on this, but some netizens are saying that security at SGH has been rather tight these couple of days.

More confirmation of this is needed.

Thanks to Harris Johnson for introducing me to Mr. Yew. He is a man who is not only knowledgeable, but more importantly has wisdom, long term perspective and hope for the future.

One of the most insightful discussions on global politics I'd ever seen. Charlie Rose asks Lee Kuan Yew a slew of difficult questions affecting the world now and the foreseeable future and he handled them like a champ. Truly exhilarating to watch. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in global markets, politics, international relations and development.

Lee Kuan Yew has a brillant insight into the world that I view from my limited perspective; therefor, he is for me the most informed guest I have seen in sometime.

An excellent, educational hour presented with the usual Charlie Rose grace and insightful questions.
