Obama to meet Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew

Lee Kuan Yew meets Barack Obama on Friday October 30th. AFP:

President Barack Obama will meet Singapore’s founding father Lee Kuan Yew next week, the White House said Friday, as the US leader gears up for his first official visit to Asia.

Obama will host Lee, who now serves as a senior cabinet advisor, at the White House on Thursday, Obama deputy spokesman Bill Burton said on Air Force One.
