Lee Kuan Yew meets Secretary of State Hillary Clinton today. US State Dept:

4:30 p.m. Secretary Clinton holds a Bilateral Meeting with Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore, in the Treaty Room at the Department of State.

UPDATE: Official remarks (just a few meaningless pleasantries) and video now available on State Dept site.

Can Mrs. Clinton ask SM Lee about the 2 US citizen children abducted to Singapore on Aug31 2009?

The Singapore Consulate in San Francisco facilitated the abdution by issuing new passport for the children. Their US passports were confiscated by the Superior Court of California; and the Singapore Consulate did not ask why the children need new passports?

Lee Kuan Yew's wife Kwa Geok Choo has been warded at the Neurological Intensive Care Unit of Tan Tock Seng Hospital since her second stroke in May 2008. She suffered a third stroke in June 2008, and sources available to LEEWATCH suggest that she has suffered permanent brain damage and is not expected to recover from her coma.
